Amy Kimble
My name is Amy Kimble, and I’ve been happily married to my husband Jordan for over thirteen years. He is a musician in the US Air Force, and we have been stationed at Langley AFB in Hampton, VA since 2013. We have three beautiful children: Natalie (age 6), Eloise (age 4), and Leeland (age 2), and I stay home with them. I homeschool my daughters and co-lead a homeschool co-op with a group of moms at my church. My husband and I also lead seasonal life-groups at our church and serve in our church’s nursery as care coordinators. As a family, we enjoy camping in our 18’ trailer and traveling to Alaska frequently on family vacations. We plan to move there when Jordan retires! Personally, I enjoy reading, cooking, and exercising in what little free time I do have!
Raising littles and being a full-time seminary student for the past three years has brought me to the end of myself and my capabilities many times. The only way I find I am able to endure and press on is through the grace of God and the strength He provides for me daily, and sometimes moment by moment. When I look back on the goodness of God on my life, I see His providence, plan, and purpose for everything I have experienced. I find He most uses me in my relationships with other moms and friends as a listening ear and a safe place to find prayer and comfort.
