Student Financial Hardship Fund

During graduate school, unexpected events and circumstances arise for students that were unforeseeable and unpredictable when they first began their seminary journey. This fund is established to support current students through financial hardships that unexpectedly arise and have a potential impact on their continuance.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Recipient(s) can be a full-time student or part-time student (as established by the Seminary catalog) at Denver Seminary, enrolled in a Masters, Doctorate or PHD program, pursuing their degree residentially or online.

DISTRIBUTION

This fund is intended to provide a one-time gift and could be up to a maximum of $1000. However, both of these criteria can be adjusted if the committee determines that exceptions need to be made for this student. This gift can be provided in a check directly addressed to the student.

The distribution from this Fund will be made by the Student Financial Hardship Fund committee of the Seminary which will be led by the Dean of Students and Student Care Specialist and include the Director of Financial Aid.
