Secure Your Mail

Empty your mailbox regularly, especially if you do not have a locking mailbox. If you cannot do this, rent a locking PO box so criminals do not have a chance to steal credit card offers mailed to your home. Never mail outgoing bill payments and checks from an unsecured mailbox. They can be stolen from your mailbox and the payee’s name erased with solvents. Mail financial or sensitive items from the post office or another secure location.
