Many people disengage from the world by plugging into their tech toys, especially those you just received for Christmas.

Zoning out with your headphones or constantly staring at your cellphone when you are walking can make you a target for a criminal. When you become unaware of your surroundings, it is time to consider turning down the music or putting your phone away so you can be aware of what is happening around you.
